It seems that people spend most of their time trying to be with other people. Not just romantically, having company. Being alone for extended periods sucks. Most of us don't like looking around in our heads. So, we fraternize, we talk, we jest, we gather, we hang out. Being around people is a much better alternative, and I find that good conversation is one of the best parts of life.
That said, a lot of people are real assholes who make it hard to be around.
This isn't directed at anyone, its just a general observation.
